Successful completion of its first-ever batch of the Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) program

Gandhara University is proud to announce the successful completion of its first-ever batch of the Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) program—a significant step forward in advancing medical education in Pakistan. The CHPE program was designed to equip faculty and healthcare educators with essential skills in curriculum design, assessment, instructional strategies, and educational leadership. Participants from diverse healthcare backgrounds demonstrated strong commitment, critical thinking, and a passion for professional growth throughout the course.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the guest faculty from Khyber Medical University, Prof. Dr. Brekhna Jamil, Asst. Prof. Nowshad Asim, and Asst. Prof. Syed M. Junaid, for their valuable contributions. Special thanks also go to our dedicated in-house faculty, Asst. Prof. Marina Khan, Asst. Prof. Aalia Jehan Zaib, Dr. Saman Baseer, and Dr. Usama Aurangzeb, for their exceptional efforts in facilitating the program.
The program concluded with a brief yet meaningful certificate distribution ceremony, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ejaz Hassan Khan and Director ORIC , Dr. Sofia Shehzad, who appreciated the participants’ dedication to lifelong learning and educational excellence.
