This department has 3 dental beds operating at the same time, the instruments are autoclaved in the main OT, major Max Fax cases are operated in the Operation theater where as if there are any complicated cases they are referred to SBDH.

Preventive care, periodontics, restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery are available. Faculty and residents also treat special needs patients with systemic disorders and developmental disabilities that require care in the hospital setting. Dental treatment under general anesthesia in the operating room is available. The Department of Dentistry provides a consultation service for referring health care providers and emergency care through the Emergency Department.
