The department of oral surgery is designed in a way that the students are trained to diagnose the diseases, injuries, defects of Jawbones and associated intra and extra-oral structures. Students are also trained to encounter oral and maxillofacial trauma, complications, preparation of patients for oral surgical procedures and post operative care for simple and complicated tooth extractions and other minor oral surgical procedures. Dental Implant Center

This department is well established at Sardar Begum Dental College. This is the first college in Pakistan offering Implantology education to its students with the collaboration of Innova Corp, the manufacturer of Endopore Dental Implants. As the face of restorative dentistry has been changed internationally by implantology, Sardar Begum Dental College is proud to offer this service to the local community of peshawar. Its students also gain tremendous experience in the newly evolving field of implantology.
