Department of Oral Biology

The Department of Oral Biology teaches the aspiring dental surgeon the nature of the oral and maxillofacial tissues, providing them with basic scientific knowledge to be applied later on while learning the pathology and treatment of diseases affecting these structures. It includes oral anatomy and tooth morphology, both essential basic knowledge for dental students. Various anatomical models and histological specimens are also available for practical learning of the subject. The faculty includes:
